What to clarify before you start working with a studio.
- How long does a project take?
- The timeline depends on the scope, the integrations and how ready the materials are. We agree on a plan once the task and its dependencies are clear.
- How is the cost determined?
- We estimate the breakdown of work, the complexity of the user flows and the stages required. Assumptions and additional tasks are discussed before we start.
- Who will own the code and the design?
- Once payment is made in full and both parties have met their obligations, all rights to the design and code belong to you. The handover procedure is set out in the contract.
- What happens after launch?
- We can agree on support, hosting and further improvements. The scope of services and response terms are agreed separately.
- How do you work across time zones?
- At the start we agree on meeting times and communication channels. We record important decisions in writing so the team can always go back to what was agreed.
- Can we sign an NDA?
- Yes, on request. We will sign a nondisclosure agreement before you share any confidential materials.
- Can we start with a small task?
- We can discuss an audit, a prototype or the first stage of a product. First we will define a result that makes sense within your budget.
- What if we already have a contractor?
- Tell us what tasks they handle and where you need help. We will agree on areas of responsibility, access and how results are handed over.
